What Does All-on-4 Cost? For many patients, the cost of treatment is a determining factor during the decision-making process, especially when a full mouth restoration is involved. If you have done any research into the matter, then you know these types of restoration can be quite costly. At Palani Center for Dental Implants, we strive to offer quality products at affordable rates—one of the many reasons we chose to fabricate our restoration in office. There are several factors that may affect the price of your restoration: the number of implants, preliminary procedures, and the quality of the material, to name a few. The All-on-4 technique offers patients a more affordable solution to the problem, as we only use four precisely placed implants to support a complete lower or upper arch of prosthetic teeth. At Palani Center for Dental Implants, we offer full arch solutions starting at $9500! During your consultation visit, Giri Palani, DDS, FICOI can provide more details on pricing. The following information is designed to help you better understand why certain factors may affect pricing. Number of ImplantsWhile the All-on-4 technique, boasts about the use of only four implants to support an entire bridge, this may not always be the case. Unfortunately, certain patients may not qualify to receive four implants. We may have to place more implants to ensure the success of your restoration. You may not have an adequate bone structure to support the All-on-4 technique. Sometimes, five or six implants are needed in the upper jaw because of a lower bone density. For patients that qualify for All-on-4, each implant will be placed at a precise angle to optimize support, with the rear implants being placed at a 30 to 45-degree angle. This technique may even reduce the need for bone grafting. Bone GraftingBone grafting is a procedure that is common in restorative dentistry. To support dental implants, you must have the proper bone structure. If the bone is too soft, or not dense enough, we will perform a bone graft procedure. During the procedure, Giri Palani, DDS, FICOI will surgically place grafting material into the affected area. Once new bone has grown, we can proceed with the rest of the implant treatment. Obviously, additional procedures, such as bone grafting, result in additional costs. This includes other preliminary procedures, such as tooth extractions and periodontal work. Do not worry, in some cases; insurance companies will cover part of the fee charged to restore your new teeth. Quality of Final RestorationAdditional costs also depend on what system you want as a full mouth restoration. Most fixed bridges are made out of zirconia, porcelain, or a combination of acrylic teeth over a titanium framework. A zirconia restoration is usually the ideal solution. Zirconia is a versatile material that best matches the aesthetics of natural teeth while providing a high level of durability and strength. We may also recommend acrylic teeth over a titanium framework for durability and easy repairs. Schedule a ConsultationInvesting in All-on-4 and other full mouth restorations is a big commitment. However, you will find the cost to be worth it. Implant-supported restorations not only have an extremely high success rate, but also last for decades, or even a lifetime!
